Audio Suite Open House at Sledgehammer Games

We’re extremely happy to announce that our massive, six-month long, studio expansion is finally complete! Last Friday, we cut the ribbon on our new Audio Suites, and celebrated with as much wine, cheese, and beer as possible. If you’ve been following along with us over the past six months, you know that we’ve been undergoing a massive build out project that has doubled the size of our studio to make room for 40 new jobs in 2013. The last phase of the project was to design and build six state-of-the-art audio suites to create award-winning sound and an onsite foley room to produce realistic background noises for our secret upcoming project. In attendance were all the contractors, technicians, and the building management that worked tirelessly to make all the necessary changes possible. Here are some pictures of the event:

Sledgehammer Games is gearing up to deliver our next title, and we just completed a massive expansion project to make room for YOU!  In addition to adding more space for engineers, artists (of all disciplines), and designers, we’ve added space specifically for our embedded quality assurance team, a state-of-the-art focus test room, and a film studio quality dark room for our light and vfx artists. Additionally, we have just cut the ribbon on six new full service audio suites, as well as our onsite foley room, that were custom designed by Sam Berkow – whose previous credits include the Hollywood Bowl, Grand Ole Opry and The Jazz Standard.

Finding best in class developers to work with us, and deliver amazing software for our fans is our number one priority. We are growing like crazy, and we have plans to add 40 more jobs before the end of the year in all disciplines and levels of seniority across the development team.
