What a weekend! The 2015 Call of Duty Championships was a great experience for the dev team that travelled down to LA to support the show.  We were treated to some amazing matches from 32 teams around the world. In the end, it was Denial and Team Revenge who were poised to face off in the Grand Finals. Team Revenge had an incredible run, proving that any team can make it when given a chance. Ultimately, Denial took the title of World Champions in matches that went up to Game 5.

On Day 1, Pool Play matches were played to determine which 16 of the 32 teams moved on to play the next day. Some surprisingly plays like both Team Epsilon and TCM Gaming were sent packing on Day 1.

Day 2 consisted of the Upper and Lower Brackets being played out by the 16 teams. Several fan favorite teams were eliminated before reaching the Top 8. FaZe Red mounted a run through the Lower Bracket securing win after win to make it on to the Lower Bracket Finals, along with Denial and Team Revenge for Championship Sunday.

Championship Sunday had some of the most intense matches of the whole weekend. Be sure to check out the whole day here, but Game 4 of the Upper Bracket Finals (Detroit  - Uplink) is a highlight of the weekend. Such intense back and forth matches throughout the day.

Congrats to Denial, the 2015 Call of Duty World Champions! It was great to see our game be played at such a high level of skill by all teams and players this last weekend. We can’t wait to see how the rest of the competitive season turns out.
